I recently finished my residency at the outstanding Houston Grand Opera Studio where I made my house debut as Colline ‘the philosopher’ in La Bohème and Masetto in Kasper Holten’s iconic production of Don Giovanni, as well as starring in the world premiere of El Milagro del Recuerdo by J. Martínez. I am beyond honored to call HGO my home company!

I graduated from the prestigious Academy of Vocal Arts in Philadelphia, there I appeared as the title role in Mozart’s Don Giovanni; Ferrando in Verdi’s Il Trovatore; Don Alfonso in Mozart’s Così fan tutte; Raimondo in Donizetti’s Lucia de Lammermoor; among others.



Previous engagements have included Mustafá in Rossini’s L’italiana in Algeri with Tri-cities Opera; one of the funniest roles from L’elisir d’amore ‘Dulcamara’ with Sociedad Artística Sinaloense in Mexico; my dream role ‘Figaro’ in Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro with Oberlin in Italy; Uberto from La Serva Padrona and Luka from The Bear by William Walton with the Merola Opera Program at the San Francisco Opera; in Wolf Trap Opera I performed the roles of Scapin and Der Lautsprecher in a extra-fun double bill called “The world turned upside down” that included Gluck’s L’ile de Merlin and Ullman’s Der Kaiser von Atlantis.

Last year I traveled to Prague to take part of the Placido Domingo’s 2019 Operalia competition; I also have been awarded the first place with Career Bridges competition in N.Y.C. and Artist Series Concert of Sarasota Competition for Voice; Second place in the New England regional Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions in 2018; Second place in the Mario Lanza competition in Philadelphia; among others.



In 2014 I completed the studies at my beloved Conservatorio Nacional de Música in Mexico City which I attended after moving there from my hometown San Luis Potosí, Mexico.
I grew up there in a non-musically-trained family, but music was always a part of our everyday life.

I’ve always been a big dreamer, since I was little. Dreamed being onstage, dreamed of making people smile and feel.
I keep going on reaching as much people, audiences, souls to share my purpose and connect with them. So, hope we can connect soon!
